Ever since getting my new camera, I have been seeing beauty in every small detail. My dove wrapper for the day holds a tidbit of wisdom along with its’ tidbit of chocolate…
I think this proves that chocolate really is good for your soul.

rose petals salvaged from a flower about to be thrown out. I took lots of pictures of this little rose… I felt like I needed to document her tragically short life.
I took this picture on my iPhone via the Hipstamatic app. I used the Roboto Glitter Lens, Ina’s 1969 film, and no flash. Definitely one of my favorite apps for lomography style pictures.

Beneath The Glitter - By Elle and Blair Fowler

Beneath The Glitter will be coming out in hardcover as well as e-book on September 4, 2012. Here’s a quick synopsis of the novel…

When Sophia and Ava London moved to Los Angeles to further their makeup and fashion line, London Calling, they expected to meet super stars, not become them. However, when their little business becomes a big deal with the help of an ever growing internet fan base, the sisters enter into the exclusive life of fabulous parties, air kisses, and scores of hot guys. Faster than you can say “Now get out Mac brush #224 and blend,” they have tie in deals with international jewelry companies, major clothing retailers, and—one of their biggest dreams—an offer from Lux Life makeup for their own London Calling line. But fame has a price, and when the sisters are betrayed by someone they trust, they find themselves knee-deep in a scandal that could ruin everything they’ve worked for… and send all their dreams crashing down.

Comments on Beauty Vlogger Boot Camp!

This is for people who said elle and blair were being “rude and “snobby”:

I don’t understand why everyone is saying Elle and Blair were being rude and snooty when they weren’t. They have to critique the contestants, and faking a compliment would be insincere. I’ve seen judges that are a lot more harsh. They are no where near Simon Cowell as a judge. If you guys say that they can give criticism without seeming rude, why don’t you guys try doing it? It’s easier said than done and you guys are being overly sensitive.

Everyone saying that they were being rude and snobby obviously hate the idea of the show because they don’t want to see them succeed!

Sometimes I have days where I realize, usually right before bed, that I didn’t live the day to its fullest. Today was one of those days.
You can be sure tomorrow won’t be.
